Transfer Webhook Setup
Quickstart on how to setup transfer webhooks to send your data where you wan
This tutorial goes over how to setup custom API calls to connect to your campaign with your external APIs
- We start by navigating to "Campaign Management > Campaigns"
- To create the webhook integration click on to edit the campaign
- Scroll down to the bottom "Call Transfer Webhook"
The endpoint is the URL that points to your API. Similar to website URL, your endpoint URL is where your requests will be sent to speak with your API.
An example API could look like the following:
Puretalk allows you to inject your own variables from lead data. You can reference these variables by wrapping them in '[' ']'. Upon entering the opening brace a list will be provided to you that you can choose from
Headers & Parameters
Headers and parameters contain a wealth of information that can help you track down issues when you encounter them. HTTP Headers are an important part of the API request and response as they represent the meta-data associated with the API request and response
Body/Payload is the data that is sent to the endpoint you set above. This data can either be formatted in JSON or form data
Testing your request
Testing the request will allow you to make sure that your API call is working before moving on in your project. A window will pop up where you can enter your test variable values
Upon submitting your request you will get a message with your request formatted and response from your API
